Job Summary

  • This position functions to assist the medication safety pharmacist in providing a safe environment for patients, staff members and visitors.
  • Interns will review event reports to determine contributing factors to errors, severity of the harm to the person affected and probable solution(s) to prevent errors from occurring in future.
  • Under the guidance of the medication safety pharmacist, interns will help with data collection, data analysis, data presentation and discussion of various patient safety projects.
