Job Summary

• The Apprentice Transmission Mechanic will work as an assistant to or under the general direction of a journeyman, performing installations, operations, testing, adjustments, repairs, and maintenance of natural gas compressor station and gas transmission facilities.
• This role involves performing overhauls on engines and compressors, station auxiliary equipment, and utilizing various bench, hand, and machine shop tools, including welding and precision measurement tools.
• Work is predominantly outdoors in all weather conditions and may require working at elevated heights, driving trucks and specialized equipment, and responding to emergency scenarios.
