Job Summary

  • The Network Operations Engineer is accountable for the successful operations and support of the Client Network and underlying infrastructure.
  • This role requires British national only and involves providing national and international support to the Accenture Aero & Defence Space client.
  • The selected individual will participate in on-call and shift rota while ensuring issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.

Must-have

  • Cisco switching and wireless experience
  • ASA firewalls and ISE security
  • Incident and problem management skills
  • Ticketing system and monitoring tools usage
  • Onsite delivery in Portsmouth, Stevenage, or Newport

Nice-to-have

  • ITIL qualification desirable
  • Full clean driving license preferable
  • Palo Alto firewall experience
  • Check Point firewall experience
  • Firewall orchestration knowledge

Key Requirements

  • British nationality required
  • 5 years continuous UK address history
  • BPSS and SC security clearance
  • Cisco CCNP or multiple CCNA certifications
  • Experience with information security focused on networking
