Job Summary

  • The Perioperative Services Assistant will work in conjunction with and under the guidance of the registered nurses, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to support and provide care to the surgical patient.
  • Duties include cleaning and turning over rooms, restocking supplies, assisting with anesthesia access lines and equipment, and transporting specimens.
  • Ensures adherence to Surgical Services Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
