The Plant Project Engineer is responsible for applying engineering knowledge to ensure IMS compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
This role requires supporting production teams in early project definition while preparing key deliverables such as technical solutions, scope, budget, and schedule.
During execution, the engineer acts as an Overall Design Authority, managing stakeholders and ensuring safe delivery against defined KPIs.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Mechanical, Piping, Process Engineering knowledge
ASME, CSA, NFPA, CGA standards expertise
P&ID and electrical one line diagram proficiency
Project management methodology and tools
Safety and risk management implementation
Nice-to-have
Experience in industrial gases sector
Knowledge of air separation and cryogenics
International and intercultural mindset
Strong leadership and planning skills
Active membership in Canadian engineering body
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering and piping
3 years of experience in project management
Good knowledge of ASME, CSA, NFPA and CGA standards
