Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist in the provision of care to ill and injured animals as well as providing assistance to clinicians, staff and professional students in the days to day operations of the Veterinary Medical Center.
  • Duties include, but are not limited to, providing basic patient care functions; taking temperature, pulse, respirations, entering history and physical findings in medical record; using hospital information system for charges and charting in medical record.
  • The successful candidates will be expected to work 40 hours a week, primarily on first shift, and will require working a rotating on call schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
