Salary

Operator in Training: $20/per hour; 750 hours of experience: $22/per hour; 751-1500 hours of experience: $23/per hour; 1501-2500 hours of experience: $24/per hour; 2501 hours of experience: $25/per hour; Benefits: University contributions to health, dental, life and disability insurance, tuition waivers for employees and their families, 12 official holidays, immediate leave accrual, and a choice of retirement programs with university contributions ranging from 5 to 10% of employee salary.

Key Requirements

  • Pass DOT physical examination
  • Obtain DOT medical examiners certificate
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Age 18 or older
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing
  • CDL Class B or higher with Passenger Endorsement
  • Experience operating large transit vehicle
  • Knowledge of DOT/CDL regulations
