Amentum is seeking an intern for its Space Exploration Division, focusing on structural analysis and design for propulsion systems. Candidates should be enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program, ideally with skills in finite element analysis and CAD applications

Job Summary

  • As an Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) intern, you will work alongside engineers and scientists on hardware development, payload integration & operations, laboratory & test operations, modeling & simulation, space environments, scientific research and propulsion systems for programs like Human Landing Systems, Space Launch Systems and the International Space Station!
  • The intern shall support the MSFC Propulsion Systems Department in technical activities supporting the development and verification of rocket propulsion systems, performing design and/or structural analysis for both flight and non-flight hardware.
