  • This role is responsible for establishing engineering standards of excellence for infrastructure monitoring, controls engineering, operational telemetry, and customer service management across Equinix’s global retail and hyperscale data center portfolio.
  • Responsibilities include defining technical standards for control systems and monitoring infrastructure, designing scalable platforms for incident detection and resolution, and integrating automation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • The Sr. Director will lead initiatives to optimize critical infrastructure monitoring, leverage AI and predictive analytics, and scale controls engineering solutions to support global Data Center operations while maintaining industry-leading uptime and availability.

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years in critical infrastructure engineering, operations, IT, or Networking
  • 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Networking, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven expertise in controls engineering, power systems, and cooling technologies
  • Experience with service management frameworks
