Must-have

  • NEC3 and NEC4 contract experience
  • Nuclear or civil engineering sector background
  • Early-stage cost estimate development
  • Cost planning and budget monitoring
  • Value engineering and whole-life cost analysis

Nice-to-have

  • RICS, CIOB, CICES, or CIPS membership
  • Engineering degree alternative to Quantity Surveying
  • Strong problem-solving and methodical thinking
  • Flexible core hours and travel willingness
  • Leadership of small commercial teams

Key Requirements

  • HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management
  • Essential experience in Nuclear/Civil engineering sector
  • Professional qualifications (RICS, CIOB, etc.) desirable
