Job Summary

  • Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs select procedures and treatments, maintains patient care units in orderly condition and assists RN as requested.
  • Provides direct patient care which may include bathing, oral and hair care, bed making, ambulation and positioning, toileting, and taking/recording patient measurements.
  • Independently performs and documents tasks such as specimen collection, patient transfers, oxygen and suction setup, telemetry, wound care assistance, EKGs, phlebotomy, and traction setup.
