The primary purpose of this job is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing leadership.
Essential duties include following facility policies for medication administration, reporting errors, maintaining resident records, and verifying medication accuracy.
The role requires a licensed Medication Aide, the ability to read and interpret technical procedures, and to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
