Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this job is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration.
  • Essential duties include maintaining employee records, completing monthly nursing schedules, coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage, and answering employee and applicant calls.
  • The role requires the ability to cope with mental and emotional stress, work effectively with residents and personnel, and potentially assist in resident evacuations during emergencies.
