Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Licensed Medication Aide certification required
Administer oral and topical medications safely
Verify resident identity before medication administration
Document medication errors and incidents accurately
Maintain confidentiality of protected health information
Nice-to-have
Experience with quality assurance programs
Ability to cooperate with inter-departmental personnel
Familiarity with medical abbreviations and symbols
Key Requirements
Must possess a high school education or equivalent
Must be a licensed Medication Aide with state-approved training
Must successfully complete necessary state examination(s)
