JLG Industries is seeking a Senior Quality Manager - Process Assurance to lead quality integration in product development and improve manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality management, particularly in new product development and continuous improvement methodologies

Job Summary

  • This individual will lead the integration of reliability & robustness in New Product Development as well as drive warranty reduction task force using structured approach problem solving.
  • Drive process capability, stability, and control through the deployment of robust manufacturing quality systems, including PFMEA, control plans, and continuous improvement methodologies, with a focus on risk reduction and improving First Pass Yield (FPY).
  • Provide hands on coaching and training on PFMEA, Control Plans & manufacturing APQP and lead and train the manufacturing team on a structured approach to problem solving utilizing 8D and Six Sigma disciplines.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years in related work experience
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Preferred Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt)
  • Master’s Degree in Reliability Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
