Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
  • System security engineering expertise
  • Linux or UNIX server setup, deployment and maintenance
  • Red Hat Satellite Server and/or Spacewalk experience
  • Hardening Linux environments
  • System administration of server operating systems
  • Configuration management tools experience
  • Scripting/Automation experience
  • Troubleshooting issues in a growing environment
  • Log reviews, incident analysis, and identification of issue trends
  • Server patch management methodologies
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to triage and properly classify incidents
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Experience establishing goals and plans
  • Perform systems requirements analysis
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
  • DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) – IT System Admin Intermediate certification
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
  • US Citizenship is required
