Job Summary

  • The Emergency Management Lead will play a key role in developing and implementing plans, policies, procedures and training related to the four key components of the Halton Region Emergency Program.
  • This position is eligible for the Hybrid Work Program, with a minimum requirement of three (3) days per week onsite.

Key Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Emergency/Disaster Management or related discipline
  • 2 - 4 years public sector emergency management experience
  • Certification as Community Emergency Management Coordinator (CEMC)
  • Incident Management System 100, 200, 300 Certification
  • Emergency Management 200, 300 Certification
  • Valid driver's license
