Job Summary

  • This position performs duties related to the agency’s daily deposit requirements, daily credit card settlement transactions, vendor subW-9, general ledger journal entries, and backs up the Accountant I position.
  • The Cash Management Section ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all the agency’s cash transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and relevant state policies.
  • The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction is charged with implementing state public school laws and provides a work environment free from unlawful employment discrimination.
