The intern will assist the sales team in creation of sales one-sheets, assist in planning of special sales projects, perform ratings research, assist staff in prep for sales calls, and work with clients on social media strategy.
The intern could work on sales projects to include client research, sales presentations, data evaluation, marketing plan development, client relationship building and more.
The successful candidate must have a willingness to learn the inner workings of a local newsroom and how all departments in a TV station work to support each other.
