Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to teach content focused on improving basic skills in core mathematics areas through individual, small group, and whole class instruction, providing targeted remediation and enrichment as needed.
This position will be a main point of contact providing support and instruction in core academic areas to students in pursuit of attaining a high school equivalency diploma.
The teacher must be skilled at organizing and delivering math curriculum to groups of students of all ages, creating a flexible program and a learning environment that supports each student’s abilities and personal growth within a minimum and close custody male correctional facility.
