Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Health Services Director.
  • Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting oral and/or topical medications, and verifying resident identity before administering treatment.
  • The position requires a high school education or equivalent and must be a licensed Medication Aide with a state-approved training program.
