  • Independently carries out a broad range of technically advanced research activities and procedures; conceives of and designs experiments, evaluates conclusions, and has complete latitude to modify or devise methods and techniques as necessary to achieve desired results.
  • Function as a skilled scientific specialist for the research unit or for a specific research project, conducting broad range of experiments or computational analyses involving advanced technology/strategies.
  • Provides direct supervision to technical and support personnel as assigned and provides instruction in laboratory or computational techniques and methodology to students and postdoctoral fellows.
