Job Summary
The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician under the direction of nursing leadership and in accordance with facility policies and state requirements.
You will be responsible for accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting oral and topical medications commonly used in the facility while ensuring compliance with labeling and charting procedures.
This position requires cooperation with facility surveys, participation in quality assurance programs, and maintaining confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
