The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a Maintenance Construction Manager I to oversee maintenance and renovation projects at the Steve Troxler Agricultural Sciences Center and three veterinary laboratories. Job Summary

  • The Maintenance Construction Manager I oversees a team of 4 staff and is responsible for all buildings, maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects for the state-of-the art ASC facility and three veterinary laboratories throughout the state.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing all operating systems such as chillers, hot water boilers, steam boilers, HVAC, incinerators, plumbing, and electrical.
  • This position is the key point of contact for the building automation system’s critical alerts and responds to building alerts including after hours and on weekends/holidays to ensure continuous operation of the ASC.
