Job Summary
Responsible for providing high level service and support for the City’s emergency management program serving as the Director of Emergency Management in his/her absence.
Supervises and directs outreach to promote the City’s public education program and interacts with community groups to promote emergency preparedness.
Maintains, revises, reviews, and/or modifies Comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan, citywide Continuity of Operations Plans, Continuity of Government Plan, Hazard Mitigation Action Plan, Disaster Debris Management Plan and various other planning documents.

Key Requirements
Four-year college degree
5 years’ experience in municipal emergency management
