Key Requirements

  • Paramedic certification
  • Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Paramedic Studies
  • Three years of Emergency Services experience preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
  • NC-OEMS certification as EMT‑P
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year
  • Critical care certificate preferred
  • National Registry Paramedic certification preferred
