The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking a Workforce Education Instructor for their Practical Nursing Pathway. The role requires teaching health-related courses, supervising clinicals, and engaging with students in a supportive educational environment

Job Summary

  • Primary duties include teaching a variety of health related undergraduate / nursing technical courses, supervising clinicals, developing and teaching online courses or willingness to learn online teaching requirements, and serve on departmental and University committees.
  • In addition to teaching, the employee will be responsible for advising and registering students; developing instructional and lab activities; clinical coordination, maintaining program and student records; assisting with recruitment, placement, and follow-up; participating in professional development activities; making business and industry contacts; coordinating and supervising internship/practicum assignments, and other duties as assigned.
  • Evening and/or summer hours may be required.
