Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in communications, public relations or related fields
  • Agency experience required
  • Experience communicating in the U.S. utility sector, energy infrastructure, grid operations or regulated energy markets
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. utility operations, regulatory frameworks, rate structures and interconnection processes
  • Experience supporting media relations, corporate communications programs, issues management and/or public affairs initiatives
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in high-visibility, sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AI tools
