Job Summary
Responsible for preparing and delivering all sterile admixture products for adult and pediatric inpatient areas at the Medical Center under the supervision of pharmacist.
Accurately prepares sterile admixture products using mathematical calculations and maintains specialized pharmacy equipment.
Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance.

Key Requirements
6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Current Pharmacy Technician Certification
ASHP Sterile Product Preparation Certificate within 90 days of hire OR 5 years of IV Production experience
