The position manages the day-to-day operations of the Arkansas Digital Newspaper Project to digitize over 100,000 pages of historic newspapers for the Library of Congress Chronicling America site.
This temporary full-time position is funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and will end in December 2027.
Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills and knowledge of Arkansas history to oversee metadata collection and quality review of digital assets.
