Job Summary

  • This position offers the opportunity to work closely with therapists and interdisciplinary staff to help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life.
  • The Staff Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and established treatment plans.

Must-have

  • Record daily and weekly treatment notes
  • Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
  • Communicate with interdisciplinary team
  • Assist nursing staff with training support

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with electronic medical record systems
  • Participation in in-service education programs
  • Educate residents and families on maintenance programs
  • Positive professional relationships with residents and staff

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited PTA program
  • Current active Physical Therapist Assistant license
  • Maintain license in good standing with continuing education
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Proficiency with Casamba and PointClickCare preferred
