Job Summary
The Sonographer performs Ultrasound diagnostic imaging exams on patients per physician/provider orders with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Responsible for the physical and psychological needs of patients during procedures, including providing patient education and explaining pre- and post-procedural instructions.
Adheres to regulatory requirements (DNV, HFAP, ISDH, OSHA, ACR, etc.) and assists in obtaining/maintaining departmental accreditations if applicable.
