  • The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner while preparing tasteful meals and special diets accurately.
  • The position includes supervisory responsibilities, assisting with meal service, and participating in the orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year cook experience in hospital or long term care
  • Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certificate
  • Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred
  • Must remain in good standing with Department of Public Health
