Job Summary
The Communications and Signal Processing Division at Penn State's Applied Research Laboratory is seeking engineering interns to work on advanced wireless RF communications systems.
Selected candidates will collaborate with senior technical staff to develop algorithms, write C/C++ code, and integrate Software Defined Radio components.
This part-time position allows students to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during non-academic times.

Must-have
Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree
C/C++ programming for hardware interfaces
Interest in signal processing and digital logic
Software development and design experience
Nice-to-have
FPGA and microcontroller development skills
Knowledge of cellular and Wi-Fi specifications
Experience with MATLAB or LabVIEW simulation
Familiarity with OSI stack and TCP/IP protocols
Wireless cyber security and malware analysis knowledge
