Job Summary

  • The Therapy Aide assists in all aspects of direct and indirect delivery of care to patients, performing tasks delegated by the therapist, chief(s), or director.
  • Major duties include assisting with patient scheduling, updating referrals, setting up and cleaning treatment areas, assisting with patient treatment, cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, performing clerical functions, and documenting as required.
  • The position requires the ability to demonstrate competency in the utilization of all modalities and to understand their precautions and contraindications, as well as obtaining information for current knowledge base for various patient populations.
