Job Summary
Responsible for designing gas, hydraulic and process systems from first principles, including machining drawings with geometric tolerancing, instrumentation pipe-work schematics (P&ID’s), fabrication drawings, system designs and GA drawings.
Produce engineering calculations to ensure specifications are met including thermodynamics, mechanical design, structural calculations, material compatibility, flow through valves and pipework, volumetric pressure calculations and power consumption calculations.
Complete engineering and project documentation to ensure continued compliance with ISO standards and CE marking directives, and lead on design reviews to communicate system design to full project team.
