The Sponsored Program Officer serves as the institutional business official and central administrative point of contact for faculty principal investigators and department/college administrators on pre- and post-award management of externally funded grants and contracts.
Responsibilities include advising PIs on proposal submissions, preparing/reviewing budgets, counseling on compliance, negotiating award terms, setting up awards, and managing post-award expenditures and closeout.
