Job Summary

  • The Food Safety Coordinator is responsible for reviewing documentation in accordance with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Code of standards and regulatory & statutory standards for the Food Safety Management System (FSMS), releasing product and reviewing lab data on products.
  • The FS Coordinator may be assigned as the site Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), the SQF Practitioner and/or the SQF Quality Practitioner.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Dairy Science, Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field or comparable experience
  • Certified Sampler license
  • Certified Industry Supervisor license
  • Preventive Control Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification
  • GFSI: Safe Quality Food (SQF) Practitioner certification
  • Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification
