  • Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License Categories 36 & 37
  • Strong knowledge of USDA Zone 6b plant species
  • Experience with snow removal and storm response
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly

Nice-to-have

  • OSHA 10 safety certification
  • ISA Certified Arborist or Tree Risk Assessment Qualification
  • Certified Grounds Manager (CGM) credential
  • GIS mapping and digital tree inventory experience
  • OPSI Hoisting Engineer 2A/1C certification

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of landscape maintenance experience
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean record
  • DOT Certificate required
  • Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License (Categories 36 & 37)
  • Successful criminal and motor vehicle background checks
