Job Summary

  • The IRC responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster.
  • The IYCF Specialist will lead the assessment of mothers/caregivers' wellness status and ability to breastfeed, providing support and technical guidance on feeding practices.
  • This position is for Emergency Roster Placement only and involves supporting targeted health facilities in IYCF/IYCF-E related activities.

Key Requirements

  • BSc or Master's in Public Health, Nursing or Midwife
  • Minimum three-year postgraduate experience
  • Minimum four-year degree holder experience
  • Two years in emergency health & nutrition
  • Knowledge in IYCF and community mobilization
  • Trained and certified on IYCF, IMAM/CMAM
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
