Job Summary

  • The Electrical Commissioning & Startup Technician provides on-site leadership and technical expertise for the safe commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical systems across new plants, retrofit projects, and turnarounds.
  • Supporting Air Products’ facilities throughout the Americas, this role focuses on utilities and power generation systems, ensuring reliable construction and startup across technologies such as hydrogen, syngas, gasification, ammonia, and ASU plants.

Key Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Formal technical training in electrical construction, maintenance, and testing
  • 5 years of experience in Electrical Operations or Commissioning
  • Experience with electrical construction and industry standards (NEC, NFPA 70E)
  • Experience with electrical testing and national testing standards (NETA)
  • 18–24-month qualification program completion
