Job Summary

• The Associate Radiation Safety Officer will manage assigned program areas within the overall University radiation safety program which requires an understanding of radiation safety principles, New York State regulations, Cornell license applications, and the Cornell radiation safety manual and procedures.
• Provide expertise in radiological hazard assessment and control, safety training, and emergency response.

• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Experience with Class 3B and Class 4 lasers
• Meet NRC Trustworthy and Reliable designation
