The Senior Resident Medical Officer is responsible for co-ordinating and documenting the admission, management and discharge planning of patients within the department they are working.
The SRMO year is particularly suited to Residents (PGY3s and above) intending to pursue a career in internal medicine, rehabilitation, general practice, psychiatry, palliative care, or other specialties requiring appropriate experience to fulfil training path requirements.

Registered with Medical Board of Australia
