Job Summary
The Division of Research Safety (DRS) promotes a culture of safety through the implementation and oversight of comprehensive safety programs, building partnerships, and providing key services.
This role is responsible for evaluating complex research protocols, performing risk-based scientific assessments, and providing the technical guidance needed to facilitate the safe use of radioactive materials and radiation-producing equipment across the Urbana-Champaign campus.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in physics, health physics, chemistry, engineering, or related field
Two (2) years of professional safety or compliance experience
Experience in a radiation safety program or using radiation sources
