Job Summary

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
  • Ensure care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and direction from the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician and perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheterization, tube feedings, suctioning, and specimen collection.
