Job Summary

  • The primary responsibilities will be to teach poultry and preventive medicine within veterinary and graduate school curricula and to lead outreach efforts in support of Ohio’s poultry producers and veterinarians.
  • Faculty effort is anticipated to be approximately evenly divided between teaching and outreach, with smaller portions of the appointment devoted to scholarly activity and professional or academic service.
  • The successful candidate will additionally serve as an important collaborator for research and provide service to the College and the veterinary profession.

Key Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent) degree

  • Prior experience teaching students
  • Board certification in a relevant veterinary specialty
