Job Summary

  • The role contributes to an exceptional resident experience by providing high standards of repairs and statutory compliance for building fabric and mechanical systems.
  • The technician is responsible for diagnosing faults, undertaking minor day-to-day repairs, and managing the Onesite electronic maintenance reporting system.
  • Employees must be available on a rota basis for out-of-hours emergency callouts and ensure all communal areas are maintained to the highest standards.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Recognised trade qualification in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
  • Experience with domestic residential maintenance repairs
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements on site
  • Ability to monitor electronic maintenance reporting systems
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • Experience installing hot and cold-water systems
  • Experience maintaining fire alarm and emergency lighting systems

Key Requirements

  • O' Level / GCSE level education or equivalent
  • Recognised trade qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ)

  • Availability for on-call emergency situations
