BNY Mellon is seeking a Vice President of Data Governance to enhance data quality and governance processes within their Fund & Investor Solutions team in Pune, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data governance, experience with tools like Collibra and Manta, and knowledge of privacy stewardship

Job Summary

  • Lead oversight of Data Quality (DQ) exception management, establishing intake, triage, SLAs and escalation, tracking metrics and dashboards, and driving cross-functional remediation aligned to enterprise governance and risk standards.
  • Engineer and automate data governance capabilities, including DQ rules in Collibra, metadata collection/curation pipelines, and end-to-end technical lineage capture and integration using Manta (or equivalent).
