The Assistant Chief Engineer will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department while maintaining all broadcast technology and equipment at station and transmitter sites.
This role requires ensuring strict compliance with FCC, local, state, and federal laws while working closely with the Chief Engineer to implement new technical infrastructure.
Candidates must be able to manage engineering capital projects within established budgets and coordinate complex tasks including fiber connectivity, production setups, and vehicle fleet maintenance.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Three years television broadcasting experience
Associate degree in Electronics or Communications
FCC rules and regulations compliance knowledge
Broadcast technology and equipment maintenance
Fiber connectivity and A/V routing management
Nice-to-have
Avid-related software and hardware familiarity
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work extended hours as needed
Experience with live satellite truck fleet
Vendor coordination and training capabilities
Key Requirements
Minimum three years' experience in television broadcasting
Associate Degree in Electronics, Communications, or equivalent
