Job Summary

  • This role ensures quality compliance for structural, piping, NDE, coating, and dimensional inspection activities in FPSO and upstream oil & gas projects.
  • The incumbent must perform welding and visual inspections while executing and interpreting NDT Level II tests according to international standards.
  • Candidates are expected to carry out dimensional control, witness pressure testing, and prepare detailed inspection reports and NCRs.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Structural and piping fabrication inspection
  • Welding visual inspections per AWS/CSWIP standards
  • NDT Level II interpretation (RT, UT, MT, PT)
  • Coating inspection including surface prep and DFT
  • Dimensional control using precision instruments
  • Pressure testing witness and verification

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in shipyards or module fabrication
  • EPC environment experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and ITPs

Key Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
  • AWS / CSWIP Welding Inspector Certification
  • NDT Level II Certification (ASNT/PCN/ISO 9712)
  • Coating Level II Certification (NACE/BGAS)
  • 5–10 years QC inspection experience in oil & gas
  • Mandatory exposure to FPSO or offshore platforms
